Enticing a Child Incident
On the morning of Wednesday July 29th, a 13 year old female was walking to her school bus stop when she noticed a small black SUV following her. The driver honked at her as he drove by. He made a U-turn and pulled up beside her. The driver repeatedly told her to get into his vehicle. She told him “no” and continued to walk. The suspect made several U-turns and continued trying to entice the juvenile to get into his vehicle. She
refused each time and kept walking. The suspect pulled into a driveway ahead of her, got out of his vehicle and began walking toward her. He kept trying to talk her into accepting a ride with him. At that point she ran off in another direction. The victim went home and called her mother, who notified the police.
